Seagis Property Group Kicks Off Seagis Service Community Outreach Program with Habitat for Humanity Project in Newark, New Jersey

EAST RUTHERFORD, NJ (August 1, 2022) – Seagis Property Group LP (“Seagis”), one of the U.S. East Coast’s most active industrial real estate owners and investors, today announced the launch of SeagisService—a community outreach program intended to make a positive impact on the communities where Seagis employees live and work. The company kicked off its new formalized outreach efforts with a day of volunteering. More than 20 employees worked together to renovate a Habit for Humanity home in the greater Newark area for a local family in need.

“Giving back to the Newark community is especially important to us, as we own several properties here and have two new warehouse projects coming soon,” said Omer Mir Ahmed, Partner, who is based out of Seagis’ New Jersey office. “It felt great to get our employees together to help renovate a home for a local family in need.
