Seagis acquired a 10-acre site located in Port Everglades in November 2021. The site was a former Alamo Rental Car facility that was a low coverage, dilapidated maintenance building with excess parking. It is one of the only fee simple sites in Port Everglades and has access and frontage on I-595. Shortly after closing, we demolished the existing conditions and began constructing a new, 199,643 square foot single-story warehouse facility in February 2023. One year later, in February 2024, we signed a full building lease with Informa who utilizes the building as their South Florida headquarters with the primary function of servicing their major boat shows including the Fort Lauderdale and Miami Boat Shows.
